• →Appropriately assesses and examines patients with varying diagnoses according to OT scope of practice.
• →Treats patient within the OT scope of practice.
• →Teaches patients how to use and care for orthotic, prosthetic devices, and other assistive apparati.
• →Administers and interprets standardized assessments/tests.
• →Fabricates splints.
• →Recommends appropriate adaptive equipment for activities of daily living.

→Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment, machines and tools. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. Must be able to exert up to forty (40) pounds of force occasionally and/or up to twenty (20) pounds frequently. Must be able to lift and/or carry weights of 100 to 150 pounds with assistance. Physical demand requirements are at levels of those for physically active work.

Demonstrates good role model qualities; ability to effectively interpret, implement and support approved hospital policies, regulations, philosophy and objectives.
