• →The Licensed Engineer operates, maintains and repairs physical plant systems, buildings and equipment.
• →This role performs general maintenance throughout the facility and is authorized to perform more complex electrical and/or plumbing work depending on the license(s) held.
• →This position performs facilities maintenance, operations, and technical work. It does not include the practice of professional engineering as defined by state law.
• →Engineering design, calculations, and approvals requiring licensure are performed by licensed Professional Engineers where required.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Additional education as required by license(s) held.

• Minimum four years work experience at journeyman level with comparable equipment and systems or completion of apprenticeship program.
• Additional experience as required by license(s) held.
• Hospital engineering experience preferred.

• Current valid applicable state driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements.
• Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license, Limited Journeyman Manufacturing Plant Electrician (PJ) license, Washington EL01 General Journey Level Electrician license,
• Oregon Journey Level Plumber license, Washington Journey Level Plumber license or Washington HVAC/Refrigeration (EL06A) license.
