Heavy Equipment Operator

• →Work safely and follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operating standards
• →Perform pre-operational inspections and promptly report equipment concerns
• →Operate assigned equipment, including scrapers, dozers, graders, haul trucks, excavators, and other support equipment as trained
• →Move material safely and efficiently to support mining, reclamation, and production objectives
• →Monitor equipment performance and identify potential maintenance issues
• →Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic routine servicing as required
• →Assist with material handling and other operational tasks as needed
• →Work effectively with supervisors, maintenance personnel, and fellow operators
• →Maintain accurate production and equipment records as required

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining assigned mining equipment to support production and reclamation activities across our Belle/Colony mining operations. Operators work independently and as part of a team to move material efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and equipment care.

• Night Shift: Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 2:30 AM
• Shift premium applicable
• Major holidays off with holiday pay

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Heavy equipment operating experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong commitment to safety and dependable attendance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop operating skills on multiple types of equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English

• Outdoor work in a mining environment with exposure to varying weather conditions
• Moderate to heavy physical demands, including climbing, lifting, and equipment inspections
• This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to applicable drug testing requirements
