Responsibilities

→Lead as First Assist: Serve as the primary surgical first assist, providing critical hands-on support throughout procedures.
→Set the Stage Pre-Op: Confirm cases, meet patients, walk them through procedures, gather documentation, and coordinate closely with OR staff.
→Deliver in the OR: Support patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, anticipate the surgeon's next move, and work in sync with the surgical team.
→Follow Through Post-Op: Assist with patient transfer, deliver thorough PACU handoffs, and complete documentation with precision.
→Help Us Get Better: Contribute to clinical and operational initiatives — education, training, and process improvement.

Requirements

At least 2 years of surgical assisting experience
Hands-on experience assisting in Ortho and Spine.
Spine experience is a plus

Strong technical skills in the operating room
Graduate of an Accredited program- PA/NP/CSFA
Ability to acquire MN state license

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different personalities and needs
A customer-service mindset
Confidence to work independently and autonomously
