Skilled Maintenance Yardperson (Ruth Lake)

NACG are seeking a Skilled Maintenance Yardperson to join our remote mining site team in the Fort McMurray area at our Ruth Lake site.

This is your opportunity to join one of the safest and largest contracts in the region. For this role, NACG offers a combined rate of up to $52.29/hour as well as room for growth!

For this role, NACG offers very competitive industry wages for our service provider positions!

• Site: Ruth Lake
• Schedule: 5x2, 12 hour days (paid for 12 hours). Days Only, 6AM to 6PM. 
• Accommodations: Camp is not provided. 
• Transportation: Bussing is provided from Fort McMurray to site (before and after shifts).
• Overtime: Provided after 8 hours in a day or 44 hours in a week.

We are proud to work with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 955.  Successful candidates will become a part of that union.

• →Operate various equipment performing maintenance duties – Loader/Grader/Forklift/Skid-Steer/Light Duty Vehicles
• →Assist technicians with assembly and testing when required (minimal supervision)
• →Load/off-load freight components from delivery trucks with forklift
• →Proficient in all Intermediate Maintenance Yardperson duties   

• Minimum 3 months previous experience operating grader/loader
• Minimum 6 months previous experience in a shop/field heavy equipment maintenance environment
• Forklift/skid-steer certifications are considered an asset
• Experience running Hitachi Loaders and Cat Graders is considered an asset 
• Familiarity with Cat Equipment and Maintenance is considered an asset 
• Class 3 License w/air endorsement and prior experience with hauling/reversing trailers with a light duty truck is considered an asset
