Oversee production, packaging, and logistics to deliver high‑quality products on time and within budget. Drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen EHS performance. Support sales demand and enable the business to achieve financial targets.
Responsibilities

~2 min read- →Oversee production operations by aligning resources, planning campaign start‑ups, securing necessary support and materials, and ensuring full PSM‑MI compliance to meet plant output goals.
- →Provide leadership that develops and sustains an environment that encourages individual initiative, creativity and growth. Support, encourage and foster team development.
- →Monitor and facilitate environmental activities (i.e. air quality, wastewater, hazardous material disposal, etc.) to ensure plant compliance with federal, state and local environmental rules and regulations.
- →Oversee financial management of the facility including budget performance monitoring, development and management of the operating budget, and development and execution of the capital plan.
- →Lead Hydrazine quality systems by maintaining ISO 9001 certification, ensuring procedure compliance, managing audits, and participating in quality steering team activities.
- →Manage the development, planning, and implementation of a large‑scale plant expansion, with responsibility for identifying and closing resource gaps from planning through commissioning.
- →Manage government‑related coordination with DLA and industry partners, including reporting, technical support, and issue resolution. Attend Aerospace industry meetings as needed.
- →Support strategic planning and evaluate government project opportunities to advance site growth.
- →Represent Calca Solutions within the community by participating in the area Citizens Advisory Panel, engaging with Lake Area Industry Alliance (LAIA), Louisiana Chemical Association (LCA) and other organizations as appropriate, and serving as the facility’s spokesperson.
- →Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 standards and all applicable safety policies to ensure safe and consistent operations.
- BS/BA in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Expert knowledge of plant operations, manufacturing management and strong business acumen typically gained through 15–20 years of progressive experience in chemical, industrial, or process‑based environments
Nice to Have
~1 min read- Advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Skilled in SAP
- Familiar with OSHA, DOT, EPA, DEQ, and other relevant regulatory requirements affecting site operations

- Able to organize complex activities with regard to projects and people
- Able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Able to travel as required
