CAD Technician

We are looking for a CAD Technician to support the Survey group in our Jacksonville, Florida office. 

• →Communicate proactively and appropriately with team members, permitting agencies, clients, sub-consultants, and others as needed
• →Act as a team player, fulfilling your own responsibilities and supporting others as needed to help the team meet deadlines and complete tasks
• →Understand legal descriptions terminology
• →Review field notes and raw data files for mistakes
• →Reduce field notes and perform necessary office calculations
• →Ensure that field procedures meet Florida Standards of Practice
• →Prepare maps using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other associated survey module

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Current or prior experience with Auto Cad and Civil 3D 
• Current or prior experience with technical drafting in the land surveying fields
• Knowledge of the standards of practice applied to data manipulation and mapping production
• Knowledge of the following types of surveys:
  • As-Built
  • ALTA/NSPS
  • Boundary
  • Construction layout
  • Control
  • Right-of-Way
  • Specific Purpose
  • Topographic
