Senior Cyber Security Manager

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Manager professional to join our team supporting the Special Warfare Branch within AFLCMC/WISN Asymmetric Warfare Division. The Special Warfare Branch provides critical acquisition, program management, and technical support to enable Air Force Special Warfare capabilities across the enterprise.

Duties include, but not limited to: 

• →Provide cybersecurity engineering support for traditional acquisition programs and Quick Reaction Capabilities (QRC) in a rapid development environment with minimal government oversight.
• →Implement all phases of RMF for systems generating both classified and unclassified information.
• →Develop and analyze cybersecurity engineering artifacts supporting Assessment & Authorization (A&A) toward achieving Authorization to Operate (ATO).
• →Develop risk‑reduction policies and comprehensive cybersecurity processes including continuous monitoring.
• →Develop Cybersecurity Impact Evaluation Recommendations to support ongoing system change assessments.
• →Document system architectures using OEM documentation and interface specifications to support cyber analysis.
• →Identify, select, and tailor required security and privacy controls.
• →Develop, modify, and review: Platform IT (PIT) determination packages, Cybersecurity strategies, System security plans, & RMF artifacts for program review
• →Provide expert-level evaluation of designs, proposed implementations, and defensive solutions for weapon systems and critical networks.
• →Evaluate threat data and develop residual risk recommendations for senior DoD and Air Force leadership.
• →Research threat products, evaluate system security implications, recommend enhancements, and draft cybersecurity white papers for program leadership.
• →Review interoperability requirements; evaluate and develop internal/external interface control documents (ICDs).
• →Provide strategic and operational recommendations for: Critical technologies requiring protection, Program Protection Plans (PPP), Anti‑Tamper (AT) plans, & Cyber findings, vulnerabilities, and risks.
• →Review and/or document CPI/CT and provide recommendations to the Chief of Security and Program Manager.

• Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 10 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 5 years of which must be in the DoD.
• OR bachelor’s degree in a related field and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 5 of which must be in the DoD.
• OR, 15 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the PWS labor category performance requirements, 8 of which must be in the DoD.

Certification:

• CAP (Certified Authorization Professional) certification, Now CGRC (Certified in Governance, Risk, & Compliance) and it is highly recommended to have CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional).

• Systems engineering and integration across complex weapon‑system architectures
• Requirements development and management using tools such as DOORS and system‑architecture modeling
• Technical analysis, trade studies, and risk assessment supporting DoD acquisition processes
• Cybersecurity engineering support, including RMF implementation and A&A artifact development

• Effective communication — ability to convey complex concepts clearly
• Strong collaboration skills for working across multidisciplinary teams and government stakeholders
• Adaptability and professionalism in fast‑paced, evolving environments
• Proactive problem‑solving focused on building positive, solutions‑oriented relationships

Please note: Final compensation for this position will be determined by various factors such as the Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
