Transportation Planner

Communication and coordination of export logistics in regard to transportation of material.

• →Schedule of all nonferrous truck loads from OmniSource SE facilities.
• →Schedule and reschedule appointments with customers.
• →Communicate with yards on transportation scheduling and issues as they arise.
• →Update and maintain transportation accounts receivables.
• →Maintain export available for sale reporting.
• →Enter export contracts.
• →Complete CCIC and all other documentation for export.
• →Request bookings for freight.
• →Compile information on export claims.
• →All other tasks as assigned.

• Knowledge of transportation and/or logistics.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of three years related experience.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
