About the Role

As a Security Project Manager within our Global Delivery and Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our network security posture across customer connectivity solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with engineering, vendor, and cross-functional teams to assess vulnerabilities, manage security incidents, and implement process improvements. You will oversee vulnerability management, coordinate remediation efforts, and ensure security standards are maintained through effective release and risk management. Additionally, you will support the adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions, where appropriate, to improve security processes and operational efficiency. You will also lead security process enhancements, conduct root cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to safeguard our infrastructure and support our commitment to delivering secure, reliable services to our customers.

 

  • Proven experience in network security, with a focus on connectivity solutions such as SD-WAN, MLAN, MPLS, and SD-LAN.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, access control, and security configurations.
  • Hands-on experience with vulnerability management, including assessing vendor advisories, PSIRTs, and patch management.
  • Familiarity with security standards and compliance frameworks relevant to network security, such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of automation scripting (e.g., UNIX shell, Python) to streamline security configurations and incident response activities.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks, response procedures, and automation scripts for efficient incident handling.
  • Experience in security audits, risk assessments, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to monitor and analyze security alerts, logs, and events from network devices and security tools.
  • Skilled in conducting root cause analysis, impact assessment, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in coordinating incident response efforts, including containment, remediation, and recovery.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with engineering, vendor, and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate complex security concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of leading security process improvements and driving security awareness initiatives.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIP, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Familiarity with cloud security and SASE architectures is a plus.
  • Innovative thinking with a proactive approach to security challenges.
  • Self-motivated with strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a “Can Do” mindset and collaborative working style.
