Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Talent Acquisition Specialist who can quickly earn the trust of hiring managers, engage hard-to-find engineering talent, and deliver an organized, high-touch candidate experience. This role will lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering positions and may also support Operations and Sales, General and Administrative teams as business needs evolve.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drive full recruitment lifecycle including sourcing, screening, and selection.  Proactively source and recruit candidates and partner with third-party agencies to find the best talent available.
• Build targeted sourcing strategies for specialized engineering talent, including electrical, software, controls, and energy storage-related profiles. 
• Review incoming applications, conduct phone screens, and assess qualifications against job requirements and salary expectations.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team members both onsite and remotely, to ensure a smooth candidate process.
• Maintain internal candidate tracker and hiring log to allow for accurate reporting.
• Negotiate and send formal offers to selected candidates and coordinate with HR Generalist at Vertech HQ to ensure smooth onboarding process for new hire candidates including first day details. 
• Other duties as required to support the HR team.

Specific Skills/Abilities

• 5+ years of full-cycle talent acquisition experience, with demonstrated success recruiting engineering or other highly technical talent. 
• Recruiting experience in renewable energy, battery energy storage, power systems, industrial technology, or a related technical markets. 
• Experience recruiting electrical, software, controls, and systems engineering professionals. 
• Working knowledge of U.S. employment practices and the judgment to protect confidentiality and maintain job-related, consistent hiring records. 
• Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, handle interruption and adjust priorities, and to maintain confidentiality of all HR matters.
• Ability to interact and interface with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of customer service.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of Talent Acquisition experience focused on Engineering Talent.
• 3+ years of recruiting experience in high-volume hiring
• Strong computer and administrative skills.
• Experience with ADP HRIS systems preferred 
• Extensive knowledge of and proficiency in MS Office.
