Paramedic

• →Perform clinical procedures including IV insertion, EKG acquisition, and continuous vital signs monitoring under supervision 

• →Assist with airway management, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and support during advanced airway procedures and resuscitation efforts 

• →Provide wound care, apply splints, assist with suturing, and respond as part of the team during medical emergencies 

• →Support patient flow by transporting patients to diagnostic areas or inpatient units and assisting with room turnover and preparation 

• →Maintain clinical readiness by stocking essential supplies and performing point-of-care testing as permitted by our hospital policy 

• →Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and EMS personnel to support trauma care, high-acuity patient management, and assist with clinical procedures and transitions of care 

• Current and valid paramedic license issued by the OEM/ADPH
• 3 years of paramedic experience
• Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• PALS 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• BVP 30days upon hire and maintain current
• Dysrhythmia exam completed with a score of at least 84% within 30 days of hire date.
