• →Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures such as radiography, CT scans, mammography, bone density tests, ultrasound, and other examinations following departmental protocols 

• →Responsible for ensuring that X-ray equipment is functioning properly and that images meet quality standards, which may involve performing equipment checks, calibrations, and troubleshooting as needed 

• →Interact with patients to explain procedures, address concerns, and ensure their comfort and safety during X-ray examinations 

• →Maintain accurate records of X-ray procedures, including patient information, images, and relevant medical history 

• →Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and participate in continuing education to maintain licensure and certification 

• →Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images 

• →Maintain your Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) and maintain your register status for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State. 
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations. 
• Current BCLS (AHA). 
• Proficient computer skills.

 

• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
