Traveling Retail General Labor

SPAR is growing our traveling retail remodel team! This Traveling Retail General Labor position is part of a specialized team completing remodel and reset projects in retail stores across multiple states. This role requires extensive weekly travel outside of your home state and is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, being on the road, and working in different locations.

Individuals with experience in general labor, construction, remodeling, installation, merchandising, resets, warehouse work, or other physically active jobs could be a great fit. No traditional merchandising background is required. The ideal candidate is dependable, self-sufficient, motivated, comfortable traveling for extended periods, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

• Retail store remodels and resets
• Store fixture and shelving installation
• Product and shelf placement
• Day shift retail projects
• Continuous project work across multiple states
• When one project ends, another STARTS!

• Extensive travel required outside of your home state
• Travel is expected weekly and may include extended stays
• Must be comfortable being away from home for prolonged periods
• Transportation to project locations is required

• Previous general labor, remodeling, construction, installation, warehouse, merchandising, or related experience preferred
• Ability to stand and work for a minimum 10-hour shift
• Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks
• Ability to use basic tools necessary for the job
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required
• Personal cell phone and valid email address required
• Comfortable with extensive travel and extended stays away from home
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds

• →Assist with retail store remodels and resets
• →Assemble and install retail store shelving and fixtures
• →Complete general labor tasks associated with retail remodel projects
• →Assist with product placement and shelf installation
• →Follow project instructions, layouts, and Plan-O-Grams
• →Work with store management and team members to complete assigned tasks
• →Use basic hand tools as needed
• →Maintain a clean and organized work area
• →Perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
• →Lift and carry up to 40 pounds
