Responsibilities

→Assist the dentist during various dental procedures (required experience with Scanning and fabricate temporaries)
→Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols
→Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
→Set up and break down treatment rooms before and after procedures
→Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene and post-procedure care
→Prepare and manage patient charts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
→Assist with taking dental impressions and preparing materials for dental appliances
→Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
→Welcome patients and ensure patient comfort and help ease anxiety during treatments
→Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the practice
→Other tasks as instructed

Requirements

Active Maryland dental assistant EFDA license
Maryland Radiology license Required
Must have ability to guide doctor through multiple chairs, friendly, patient centric personality, team player, timely and reliable
Dental Assistant training/school certification
2 or more years of dental assisting clinical experience
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Experience with digital software
Excellent interpersonal skills
