Helpdesk IT Specialist

Help Desk is an entry-level position on the IT Team at SDI Southwest Division

• →Installation and maintenance of all computer hardware and software
• →Assisting with the support of all aspects of LAN-based networking
• →Assisting with the installation and maintenance of voice systems; usually limited to cabling, phones, headsets and software
• →Assisting with the cabling in new and existing locations for network, computers, phones or other equipment such as printers
• →Repairing or upgrading computer systems as needed
• →Providing Tier 1 level support on hardware and software technical issues
• →Assisting with modification of Active Directory users, groups, and permissions
• →Creation, updating and management of computer images
• →Prepare documentation to assist end-user adoption of new and existing tools
• →Work in the ticketing tool fulfilling all end-user incidents and requests in compliance with agreed SLA’s
• →Manage the computer equipment inventory
• →Any other duties as assigned by the IT Supervisor
• →Provide on-call 24/7 support in case of emergency

• Must be a computer course student, graduate, or have computer-related work experience 
• Knowledge of Windows 11 required, Servers 2022 and above preferred
• Computer certifications o CompTia A+ or Simila
