→Investigates and conducts studies on specifications and requirements of the project.
→Performs original RF and Digital circuit design and analysis.
→Supplies technical assistance and coordination to designers and staff assigned to the project.
→Provides directions to the Engineering Technician and Associate Engineer while breadboarding, wiring, debugging and testing are being performed.
→Designs and plans, wiring layouts and schematics.
→Plans tests to be conducted and arranges the test setup.
→Checks performance of devices during tests and evaluates the results.
→Provides technical assistance in the preparation of spare parts lists, special tools, test equipment and other engineering data.
→Specifies the procurement of specialized components and test equipment.
→Assists in the preparation of bids and proposals.
→Uses PC-based Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) programs of moderate complexity.

Bachelor’s degree Electrical engineering (BSEE) or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years prior experience or master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years prior experience.
3+ years of RF Microwave and/or Digital Engineering experience in design, development, analysis and investigation of electronic devices and systems required.
Must be familiar:
- Modeling and Simulating
- Optimizing new conceptual circuits along with evaluating, testing, tuning, and modifying circuits.
- Amplifier design using both packaged components and bare die
- Microprocessor programming languages: C, C++
- Real time operating systems (RTOS)
- Knowledge of hardware development as it pertains to embedded software
- Microprocessors from Microchip (PIC)
- Verilog or VHDL to describe digital circuits for FPGA design.
- Xilinx FPGA and development tools
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience writing technical specifications and other technical documents
