Mobile Equipment Mechanic

This position repairs and maintains electric, diesel, and gasoline mobile equipment. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills. 

• →100% engagement in “Take control of Safety” initiatives
• →Reads job order and observes/listens to equipment to determine malfunction and to plan work procedures
• →Installs new ignition systems, aligns wheels, changes or recharges batteries, and replaces transmissions and other parts
• →Overhauls gas or diesel engines
• →Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks and makes adjustments
• →Lubricates special lifting or towing attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints or schematic drawings
• →Perform Preventative Maintenance as designated on mobile equipment
• →Fills out purchase requisitions for part to be ordered

Required:

• High school diploma or 3 years mobile mechanic experience
• Basic math skills
• Ability to complete assignments in a timely manner with attention to detail

Preferred:

• ASE Certification
• Diesel Background
• Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment
