Requirements

Full Complement of Hand Tools
Personal Reliable Vehicle
CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
Valid Driver’s License

Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road
Must have between (5) and (10) years' Journeyperson experience
Must have (5) years of previous supervisory experience
Off Road experience is REQUIRED
Must be proficient with CAT E.T., S.I.S., Komatsu, Prosis and Service Advisor
Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
Must be open to new learning experiences
Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
Fitness to Work Assessment

Responsibilities

→Oversee, supervise and manage the day to day operations in our heavy equipment shop
→Supervisions of H.E.T.’s to ensure schedules and timelines are met
→Assist H.E.T.’s with troubleshooting
→Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
→Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
→Follow up on parts orders
→Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls
→Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
