Tier One Technologies is seeking a Mainframe Support Operator/Administrator to work with our US Government client.
This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.

SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

→Responsible for supporting a large mainframe payroll application.
→Operate, monitor, and assist in the maintenance and integrity of the mainframe, peripherals, servers, and network.
→Participate in Disaster Recovery and provided first level help desk support.
→Able to adapt to various operational duties in customized data centers.
→Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.
→Perform systems security administration functions.
→Other duties may include maintaining system documentation, system performance, and installing system wide software.
→Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
→Interact with users.

Requirements

Ability to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance.
Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years.
Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
