• Up to $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

• Monday to Friday

• →Assist with preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers while utilizing personal safety equipment as required.
• →Move trucks in and out of the shop for maintenance
• →Open repair orders and charge the appropriate parts to the repair order
• →Perform tire inspections/appropriate paperwork to company standards
• →Performs shop clean-up and housekeeping responsibilities as well as other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.
• →Inspects and maintains basic vehicle/accessorial worthiness including proper fuel levels and tire air pressure, fluid levels, brakes, lights, and safety equipment, and submits reports indicating the condition of equipment.
• →Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company's Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies.

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• 3 - 4 years of experience on 3 axle 18 wheelers
• Experience with scan tool operations and vehicle diagnostic
• Ability to provide own basic hand tools
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of chemical trailers is a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend service manuals
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the shop to repair and maintain company equipment
• Knowledge of D.O.T. regulations and out-of-service parameters for tractors, trailers, and accessorial equipment.
• Knowledgeable in ELD tracking equipment, installation, troubleshooting, and operation.
• Experienced with PTO-driven air compressor installations, including Hydrochem systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Class 8 trucks and 18-wheelers, including diagnostics, preventive maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of commercial truck tires, including inspection, maintenance, replacement, and troubleshooting.Experienced with laptop-based diagnostic systems and software, including:
  • Detroit DiagnosticLink
  • JPRO
  • Allison DOC
  • Cummins INSITE
• Skilled in diagnosing engine, transmission, electrical, and mechanical issues using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment.
