We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, program development, and community engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about educational equity and eager to contribute to our mission of empowering youth.

Responsibilities

→Program Support: Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of our STEAM and Literacy programs.
→Community Outreach: Engage with parents, educators, and community members to promote our programs, gather feedback, and strengthen partnerships. This includes attending community meetings and assisting with volunteer coordination.
→Administrative Tasks: Provide support in data entry, maintaining participant and donor databases, drafting correspondence, and other administrative duties as needed.
→Marketing and Communications: Assist in developing content for our website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication materials to raise awareness about our initiatives and impact.

Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Education, Nonprofit Management, Social Work, Communications, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
A proactive attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Passion for educational equity and community empowerment.
