About the Role

The Dealer Buyback Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of the buyback collection process, including notices and all follow up with involved parties. This position will work closely with Dealerships,Sales and other internal departments to investigate and remedy outstanding buybacks owed.

 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain business relationships with existing dealers and customers.
  • Responsible for communicating with Dealer Marketing Managers, Regional Managers, and Dealer partners in order to facilitate and resolve buybacks that remain outstanding.
  • Conduct preliminary study to assess the buyback process by reviewing requirements and specifications to ensure they are in line with business objectives.
  • Follow up and perform action plans to resolve outstanding buybacks.
  • Assist dealer partners and providers in devising a strategy to expedite the amounts owed and work closely with management on all aspects of the buyback process.
  • Assist with projects related to buybacks including gathering the required information, identifying deliverables, revising reports, obtaining appropriate approvals, publishing reports, and maintaining historical files.
  • Update account information in accordance with established procedures and security guidelines and perform accurate account documentation.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in the auto lending, collections, or consumer lending industry with strong track record.
  • Effective communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state and local colletions regulations.
  • Ability to interact with others in a professional, tactful and sensitive manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

 

Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour + Bonus
