Responsibilities

→Safely restrain and handle patients using fear-free and low-stress techniques
→Obtain patient histories and perform patient assessments
→Assist veterinarians during surgical and dental procedures
→Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery
→Obtain and process radiographs and dental X-rays
→Prepare medications and support patient treatments
→Maintain clean exam rooms, kennels, runs, and hospital areas
→Support hospitalized patient care and daily clinic operations
→Occasionally participate in a cat rodeo with professionalism and humor

Previous veterinary assistant experience required
Strong surgical assisting and anesthesia monitoring skills
Experience with dental radiographs preferred
Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
Desire to continue learning and growing professionally
Confidence taking ownership of responsibilities and supporting teammates
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
