  • Enjoy a 3- or 4-day workweek with rotating Saturdays
  • Gain hands-on veterinary experience alongside experienced veterinary professionals
  • Learn the foundations of animal care, client service, patient handling, and hospital operations

  • Explore future career paths in veterinary medicine, including becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician or veterinarian
  • Work with a hands-on Hospital Manager who spent more than 15 years as an RVT before transitioning into leadership

  • Work alongside a veterinarian with 10 years of clinical experience and previous Medical Director experience

Responsibilities

  • →Assist veterinarians and support staff with patient care and daily hospital operations
  • →Safely and compassionately handle and restrain pets during examinations and treatments
  • →Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas for appointments and procedures
  • →Assist with patient care, feeding, walking, cleaning, and monitoring hospitalized and boarding pets
  • →Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming hospital environment
  • →Support client communication and provide friendly, professional customer service
  • →Assist with boarding and daycare operations while helping ensure pets receive exceptional care, enrichment, and attention
  • →Collaborate with team members to provide compassionate, high-quality care for every patient
  • →Help identify opportunities to improve workflows, client experiences, and hospital operations
  • →Contribute ideas for boarding and daycare activities, pet enrichment, client engagement, and community outreach
  • →Assist with social media content and help share the stories of the pets and people who make our hospital special
  • →Help create a Fear Free®, Low Stress Handling®, and Feline Friendly environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for
  • Previous veterinary, animal care, boarding, daycare, kennel, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
  • A genuine passion for animal care and a desire to learn
  • Interest in growing within the veterinary field
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
