The primary purpose of the position is to develop, coordinate, direct and administer the Facility’s marketing and public relations programs and services.

- Three (3) years marketing experience, preferably in the healthcare industry.
- Must have, as a minimum, two (2) years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital or nursing Facility.
- Must possess the ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing.
- Strong working knowledge needed of all Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care regulations/guidelines pertaining to Long Term Care.
- Knowledge of Long-Term Care PPS in order to identify preliminary RUG categories for potential admissions
- Ability to cost-out medications for potential admissions in order to plan/budget accordingly

- →Assist in standardizing the methods in which marketing and public relations programs and activities will be developed and implemented.
- →Represent the Facility at and participate in top-level meetings.
- →Maintain an adequate liaison with families, residents, and community and civic leaders.
