The Speech Pathologist is responsible for facilitating the recovery of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive function for the patients who come through our facility. 

• Current Speech Language Pathologist License in current state. 

• Current CPR certification. 

• At least 3 years of Skilled Nursing experience preferred. #PARAMOUNT123

• →Creating, administering, and organizing individualized plans of treatment for patients. 

• →Instructing clients in techniques for more effective communication, including sign language, lip reading and voice improvement. 

• →Educating patients and family members about various topics such as communication techniques and strategies to cope with or to avoid personal misunderstandings. 

• →Communicating with the dietary department regarding rehabilitation lunches for patients with swallow dysfunctions.
