• →Assist with the processes of inventory management and warehousing to create a standardized optimal material flow of goods internally and a centralized warehouse for operations
• →Effectively communicate project tasks and commitments with team members.
• →Understand and manage risks to minimize impact on production schedule
• →Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
• →Support assessment and sourcing of suppliers in conjunction with members of the purchasing team
• →Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• →Follow all safety guidelines and operate in a safe manner
• →Physical presence on the job is essential and necessary
• →Other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience

Education:  Interns are generally college students.  There are no specific restrictions on major, graduation year or progress.

Preferred Experience:  Supply chain/logistics industry exposure or some coursework including supply chain/logistics technology is preferred but not required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be comfortable supporting US military-funded work and building products for US military testing and use.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

ITAR REQUIREMENTS: To conform to U.S. Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) the individual must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
