We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Lead to own the design, delivery, and operation of the cloud platform underpinning Report Hub, a critical regulatory reporting solution supporting financial services clients.
This role is central to ensuring a secure, compliant, and highly resilient Azure environment, meeting stringent regulatory, audit, and client requirements while driving ongoing cloud transformation.
You will lead the infrastructure strategy and day-to-day operation of a production-grade Azure platform supporting regulatory reporting workloads.
Responsibilities

Owning networking architecture (private connectivity, firewalls, ExpressRoute/VPN, segmentation)
Embedding security-by-design aligned to regulatory and client standards (e.g. Zero Trust, least privilege)
Managing identity and access via Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and PIM
Ensuring robust monitoring, incident management, and audit traceability
Driving automation and standardisation through Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell)
Leading disaster recovery and resilience planning (RPO/RTO, failover testing)
Supporting client onboarding, audits, and due diligence responses alongside business and compliance teams
Strong hands-on expertise in Azure infrastructure, networking, and hybrid environments
Proven experience in secure, regulated or client-facing platforms
Deep understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance controls
Experience delivering automated, IaC-driven environments
Track record in enterprise cloud migration or transformation programmes
Ability to operate in highly controlled, audit-driven environments with multiple stakeholders
Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Azure Monitor, Microsoft Sentinel
Requirements
~1 min read8+ years in infrastructure, with significant Azure experience
Experience supporting production platforms with regulatory or compliance requirements
Azure certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect / Administrator) desirable
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline
Financial services or regulatory reporting platforms (e.g. EMIR, SFTR, MiFID)
Experience supporting client audits, SOC2 controls, or due diligence reviews
Multi-region or high-availability architecture design
Exposure to container platforms (AKS) and modern cloud patterns

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
