- Serve as the primary initial liaison between customers and center services, ensuring all visitors feel welcomed and supported from the moment they arrive
- Conduct intake screening and assist customers in completing eligibility documentation, online assessments, and enrollment processes in accordance with WIOA and program requirements
- Triage customer needs and connect individuals to appropriate staff, services, and community resources with a high standard of customer care
- Deliver presentations and orientations in person and virtually to inform customers about available services and program benefits
- Maintain symbiotic relationships with partner organizations
- Develop and maintain workshop schedules, coordinate partner participation, and manage room scheduling to meet the needs of career seekers
- Provide resume feedback, letter of introduction guidance, and job search assistance in the resource room
- Re-engage customers who have not completed enrollment or are awaiting services by proactively communicating program opportunities and next steps
- Train career seekers and staff on Career Team and Center resources, tools, and systems
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming resource area and coordinate general office activities
- Request and document customer feedback to support continuous improvement of the participant experience
- Coordinate service delivery among required partners
- Align services from various partners to avoid duplication and ensure customer flow
- Ensure agreements are active and understood by partners
- Identify technical assistance needs
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and documentation in required data systems in compliance with program standards
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
~1 min read- Associate's degree required, or a comparable combination of education and experience
- Ability to listen actively, analyze customer needs, and apply sound judgment to recommend solutions and appropriate next steps
- Must be computer literate and have MS Word and Excel skills at minimum, and the ability to learn Google Suite as well as specialized databases and software systems
- Knowledge of WIOA and other workforce program requirements
- Posses neutrality and objectivity
- Experienced in resolutions expertise
- Data driven and accountable
- Strong operational acumen
- Ability to work with a culturally diverse customer base with sensitivity, respect, and professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, customer service, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with standard office equipment including computers, printers, and fax machines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and confidential
- Commitment to extreme customer service in all internal and external interactions
- Approach each day and task with a solutions-oriented and responsive mindset
- A Valid Driver's License
- Bilingual or multilingual
- Strong multitasking abilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Training in Trauma Informed Care, evidence-based practice, and empathy-driven service delivery
