In-Home Personal Care

No previous caregiving experience is required. We welcome individuals who are interested in helping others and are willing to learn. Training, guidance, and ongoing support are provided.

• Location: Southfield, MI, and surrounding areas
• Position: Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver
• Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour for standard caregiver assignments
• Specialty Assignments: Certain specialty and couples cases may pay up to $22.50 per hour
• Employment Type: Full-time and part-time opportunities
• Experience: Not required; previous experience is a plus

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will help clients with daily activities and provide support based on their individual care plans. Responsibilities may include:

• →Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• →Preparing meals and encouraging proper hydration
• →Providing companionship, conversation, and social interaction
• →Performing light housekeeping, laundry, and basic household tasks
• →Assisting with walking, mobility, and transfers as appropriate
• →Providing medication reminders according to the client's care plan
• →Accompanying clients to appointments, errands, and other activities when needed
• →Observing and reporting changes in a client's condition to the office
• →Completing required shift documentation
• →Following care plans, safety procedures, and company policies

We offer a variety of assignments to accommodate different schedules and availability. Opportunities may include:

• Full-time and part-time schedules
• Day, afternoon, and evening shifts
• Overnight shifts
• Weekday and weekend assignments
• Live-in assignments
• Long-term, ongoing cases
• Short-term assignments

Schedules and available hours vary by client and assignment.

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be dependable, compassionate, and respectful
• Have reliable transportation to assigned client locations
• Have a valid driver's license
• Maintain current vehicle registration and auto insurance
• Be able to work independently in a client's home
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and the office
• Successfully complete the required criminal background screening
• Have a current TB test or be willing to obtain one before employment begins

Previous experience in home care, personal care, CNA work, direct care, or caregiving is welcome but not required.
