    What does the role involve?  
     

    As a key member of the Humanitarian team, you will support the delivery of impactful programs through high-quality, timely coordination and administration. 

    This role suits an early-career professional with relevant qualifications, strong admin experience, and a genuine passion for global issues and the aid and development sector, with the interest and confidence to contribute to social media content. 

    Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
     

    • Assist with project and partnership coordination for Program Coordinators and Country Offices to ensure compliance with accountability requirements
    • Manage documentation and information, ensuring alignment with internal processes for smooth operations. 
      • Supporting the team in documentation administration, information management and alignment with internal processes, policies and systems. 
      • Collaborate with colleagues to improve administrative functions by identifying and implementing process enhancements. 
      • Provide flexible support to the Programs Department with additional tasks as needed.
         

      This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week.

      For this role, we are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual, who is committed to making a difference in the world. The successful candidate will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience: 
       

      • Tertiary qualifications in international development or other relevant discipline (or equivalent) 
      • Understanding of issues related to the aid and development sector 
      • Interest in global world affairs 
      • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role in a professional environment  
      • A team player, actively contributing to building a positive team culture through collaboration and support  
      • Strong attention to detail and able to manage conflicting priorities
