About the Program Management Office
The Program Management Office (PMO) consists of project and change managers who collectively define, maintain and ensure best practices and standards for project management and program delivery. From streamlining processes and facilitating workshops to wrangling risks and managing resources, we’re the glue that holds it all together. The Program Management Office plays a vital role in bringing CASA’s mission to life, ensuring that every initiative, from infrastructure to innovation to change, is delivered with the goal of improving the lives of children, youth and families. This team doesn’t just support projects and change management; it uplifts the people behind them, making a meaningful and measurable difference for our clients, staff and community.
Job Details
Salary/Wage range: $62,464 to $93,167 annually
Vacation: 20 days
Shift structure: Monday to Friday, 7.25 hours per day
Primary location: Hybrid/Multi-Site, Fort McMurray
Union: Exempt
FTE: 1.0
Status: Permanent

About the Role
The Project Coordinator, Capital Expansion provides coordination, administrative support and project documentation management to enable the successful delivery of CASA’s provincial capital expansion initiatives.
The Project Coordinator will:
- Support the Manager, Capital Expansion in maintaining project plans, schedules, risk and decision logs, and reporting documents.
- Support the Manager, Capital Expansion, Manager, PMO and Program Management Support Lead to build and maintain annual fiscal budgets for Capital Expansion in alignment with PMO departmental budgeting.
- Monitor and track Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) metrics, such as cost forecasts, schedule adherence and dashboard tracking.
- Review, track and process consultant and trade partner invoices, ensuring alignment with contract terms, approved budgets, forecasted values and IPD reporting requirements.
- Assist with FF&E scope delivery, including Request for Proposal (RFP) evaluations, procurement coordination, careholder engagement, budget tracking and inventory documentation.
- Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action items, and ensure timely follow-up and accountability.
- Work closely with the Manager and PMO colleagues to coordinate project activities and maintain alignment across internal and external teams.
- Support communication and coordination with the Board of Directors, clinical teams, operational leaders and external vendors, as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, agile project environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including facilitation and documentation.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to build positive relationships through a values-based approach.
- Analytical thinker who takes initiative and follows through to execution — both a thinker and a doer.
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as in a highly collaborative IPD environment and across CASA careholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma or degree in construction management, architecture, interior design, engineering, planning, business or a related field.
- Minimum three-to-five years of project coordination experience in construction, design, planning or capital development.
- Experience supporting owner-side project functions, project documentation, budget tracking or permitting coordination preferred.
- Experience with FF&E coordination, procurement processes or RFP support is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Conditions of Employment
