We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Developer with a strong background in building customized solutions on the Salesforce platform specifically for public sector clients. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, be proficient in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, and possess expertise in implementing Salesforce managed packages.

*Contractors are also welcome to apply. Contractors would be compensated $60/Hour and be expected to commit 40 hours per week.*

Responsibilities include:

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand and analyze business requirements for public sector clients. 

• Design and develop customized solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce technologies. 

• Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems. 

• Configure and customize Salesforce managed packages to address specific client needs and extend platform capabilities. 

• Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions, ensuring code quality, best practices, and adherence to coding standards. 

• Collaborate with the QA team to ensure the delivery of robust, reliable, and scalable solutions.
  

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  

• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce releases, new features, and emerging technologies, and provide recommendations on their applicability to public sector projects.
  

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
  
• Document technical designs, configurations, and development processes. 
• Occasional travel for client onsites may be required for this role.
   

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Developer, specifically working with public sector clients. 

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform features, capabilities, and limitations. 

• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and other Salesforce development tools. 

• Experience implementing and configuring Salesforce managed packages. 

• Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like AngularJS or React. 

• Knowledge of integration technologies and patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, etc.) for integrating Salesforce with external systems. 

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. 

• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions. 

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and interact with stakeholders.

• Salesforce certifications (such as Salesforce Platform Developer, App Builder, or Advanced Developer) 

• Experience working in Agile development methodologies

How we’ll set you up for success (Full-Time Salary):

• Salary range of $90,000 to $120,000 a year*
