About the Role   

Religious Education Coordinators (RECs) are entrusted with leading the spiritual and ethical formation of the school community. RECs oversee the delivery of a rich and engaging curriculum that not only explores faith traditions but also encourages students to think critically about values, purpose, and moral responsibility. Through guiding liturgies, social justice initiatives, and faith-based programs, RECs help shape a school culture where students are empowered to live with compassion, respect, and integrity. The REC would be part of a highly collaborative, supportive and experienced Leadership Team.

Qualifications and Eligibility

• Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching
• ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
• ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
• Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy
• Be a practising Catholic, connected to a parish or other worshipping community supported by a reference from a current Parish Priest 
• Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education, Canberra and Goulburn Policy.
