About Lumen Christi Catholic College

Lumen Christi Catholic College's school wide pedagogy focuses on implementing programs to develop relationships, student growth, inclusion, and relevance, being mindful of the importance of becoming stewards of our coastal environment. Teachers at Lumen Christi develop contemporary learning and teaching strategies in a balanced approach to explicit instruction, high impact teaching strategies and inquiry learning.

About the Role

The Student Welfare Officer supports the wellbeing of school students through the provision of pastoral care services and implements strategies to support the wellbeing of the broader school community.

This appointment is temporary due to temporary funding.

Qualifications and Eligibility

  • NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC); and
  • Completed Certificate IV in Youth Work or Pastoral Care, or Diploma or Bachelor in relevant field; and
  • Responding to and preventing cyber bullying training; and
  • Accreditation in accordance with Work Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn policy

Appointment is subject to satisfactory employment screening for child-related employment in accordance with CECG policy.
