Accounting Intern

We are currently hiring our next Accounting Intern.  Responsibilities include; but not limited to:

• Help with month-end financial reports
  
• Help with bank statements reconciliation, as well as accounts payable and receivable
• Perform balance sheet reconciliation
• Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports
• Ensure the completion of assigned tasks in line with established deadline
• Study the accounting policies and processes of the organization and abide by them
• Compose and input journal entries
• Assist the coordinator with month-end financial reports
• Manage monthly tracking of physical inventory
• Support the payment processing team

I’m incredibly grateful to share that I have graduated magna cum laude from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Business and Economics, with honors in both majors.

Coming to college far away from home was both exciting and intimidating, but Skidmore became a place filled with friendships, mentorship, opportunities, and memories that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. What I’ll remember most is not only what I learned in classrooms, but the people who made this journey meaningful. I have never felt so welcomed and supported, both academically and professionally.

To my friends and family, thank you for supporting me through every late-night call, stressful exam weeks, moments of doubt, and every small victory along the way. Being far from home was not always easy, but your encouragement reminded me why I kept pushing forward.

A special thank you to Professor Smriti Tiwari and Matt Lucas for being incredible mentors throughout my academic journey. Your guidance, patience, and support helped shape both my education and my confidence in pursuing my future career.

And to my cb20 Managed IT & AV Services family! Thank you for becoming so much more than just a workplace. You became my second school and one of the most meaningful parts of my college experience.

Joel Franceski and Tom Franceski, thank you for teaching me so many practical skills in finance and business. I can confidently say I learned that inventory is extremely important… and that you should always leave breadcrumbs! But beyond that, thank you for teaching me lessons that go far beyond spreadsheets and numbers.

Jennifer McGowan, Cristina Kim, Danny Cohen, thank you for all the guidance, life advice, jokes, and countless laughs that made every workday memorable. You made the office feel welcoming from day one, and I’ll always appreciate the support and positivity you brought into my experience.

And Christopher Pickett, thank you for building such a welcoming company culture and for giving me the opportunity to grow, learn, and contribute as part of the team.

As I close this chapter, I’m leaving with much more than a degree. I’m leaving with friendships, mentorships, lessons, memories, and stories that I’ll carry into every next step of my journey.
