CHANEL is looking for an Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager to support the execution of exceptional visual merchandising across two boutique locations outside lighthouse markets. In this role, you will bring the CHANEL brand to life through consistent, compelling, and locally relevant visual environments that uphold brand standards while supporting boutique business objectives.

Working closely with boutique teams and under a dotted-line reporting relationship to a Senior Manager or Group Director, you will coordinate visual merchandising directives, provide thoughtful feedback on execution, and help ensure each boutique delivers a cohesive and elevated brand experience.


·       Execute visual merchandising activities across two boutique locations, ensuring timely and consistent implementation of brand directives.

·       Facilitate VM training seminars and morning meeting briefs for boutique team

·       Protect and elevate CHANEL visual standards across distinct boutique environments.

·       Partner closely with boutique teams to align visual merchandising execution with local business priorities.

·       Coordinate the communication and implementation of VM directives, identifying opportunities to strengthen execution.

·       Provide clear, constructive feedback on visual merchandising execution and support ongoing consistency across locations.

·       Adapt visual solutions resourcefully to the needs and constraints of each boutique while maintaining a compelling, cohesive client experience.


·       Bringing a luxury brand experience to life through meticulous visual execution.

·       Balancing priorities, timelines and resources across multiple locations.

·       Collaborating closely with boutique teams and building alignment through clear, regular communication.

·       Adapting quickly to changing business needs and diverse boutique environments.

Responsibilities

·       Demonstrated visual merchandising experience, ideally within luxury retail, fashion, beauty or a similarly client-centric environment.

·       Strong multi-site coordination skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively across two boutiques.

·       Excellent time-management and organizational capabilities.

·       A highly collaborative communication style and the ability to build productive partnerships with boutique teams.

·       Adaptability, sound judgment and a solutions-oriented approach to executional challenges.

·       A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a consistent and elevated brand image.

·       Ability to translate visual merchandising direction into thoughtful, effective execution tailored to individual boutique environments.


·       Workplace Essential: This field-based role requires regular in-boutique presence to execute visual merchandising activities, partner with boutique teams, and ensure boutique image and brand standards are upheld.

·       Responsible for supporting two smaller boutique locations outside lighthouse markets.

·       Dotted-line reporting relationship to a Senior Manager or Group Director.

·       Ability to travel regularly between assigned boutique locations and support US launches outside of home market

·       Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional early mornings, evenings, weekends or overnights as required to support visual installations and business needs.

·       Ability to stand for extended periods and lift and move visual merchandising materials as needed, in accordance with applicable policies and accommodations.

  • Ability to travel by airplane, train & automobile with a valid Divers License/Passport, reliable car (local travel) & car Insurance where applicable.
  • Must be able to lift 30-40 lbs

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $72,300 through $100,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other forms of variable pay may be offered for this position. Other components may include bonus potential, benefits, and/or perks.
