The Assistant Director of Golf Retail plays a key role in executing a best-in-class retail operation. This position partners closely with the Director of Retail to bring strategy to life, balancing exceptional member service with strong merchandising and operational execution.

This is a hands-on role, supporting inventory management, buying strategies, visual presentation, and retail events.

• →Deliver world-class service through meaningful interactions with members and guests
• →Create and uphold visually compelling, "best of the best" retail displays
• →Utilize the Jonas POS system to manage SKUs, pricing, and merchandise receiving
• →Keep stockrooms organized, efficient, and operationally strong
• →Manage the full special-order process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication
• →Partner with the Director of Retail on product assortment and buying strategies
• →Monitor inventory levels and execute reorders to maintain proper stock levels
• →Take ownership of returns and defective merchandise processes
• →Support retail strategy execution across Golf, Tennis, and Aquatics retail areas
• →Assist in planning, promoting, and executing Golf Shop events and tournaments
• →Analyze sales trends to optimize inventory mix and turnover
• →Build strong, professional relationships with members, team members, and vendor partners
• →Support day-to-day operations at the sales counter as needed
• →Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment

• 2+ years of merchandising or retail experience
• Private club experience preferred, but not required
• A passion for retail and delivering an elevated customer experience
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills
• A proactive, "can-do" approach with a sense of ownership
