Electrical Maintenance Technician

Position Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician Location: Kiambu Number of Positions: 4 Job Purpose The Electrical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in a FMCG production environment. Key Responsibilities • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment • Diagnose and repair electrical faults in production machinery • Ensure proper functioning of motors, control panels, and automation systems • Support installation and commissioning of electrical equipment • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and electrical standards • Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal operational downtime Requirements Requirements • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field • 2–3 years’ experience in maintenance within FMCG • Must have worked in flour milling, bakery, bread production, or related FMCG industry • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and troubleshooting • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and shifts
