The Credit Administration Specialist supports the Chief Credit Officer, Deputy Chief Credit Officers, Credit Administration team members, and lending markets by coordinating credit administration activities across the company. This role helps maintain strong credit quality through committee support, reporting and portfolio analytics, regulatory and exam coordination, clear communication, and process improvement. The position develops a broad understanding of credit administration, loan approval processes, portfolio risk management practices, and lending systems.
- Committee governance and coordination. Coordinate scheduling, logistics, materials, meeting books, presentations, minutes, records, and follow-up items for Credit Committee, the Large Loan Approval Committee, Senior Lender meetings, Consumer Lending Oversight meetings, and other credit-related meetings.
- Credit reporting and portfolio analytics. Produce recurring credit reports, monthly credit updates, weekly consolidated pipeline reporting, borrower aggregation and relationship reporting, portfolio quality monitoring, commercial real estate analytics, CRE stress testing reporting, and other risk assessment information for management and committees.
- Credit administration and risk management. Support credit origination and approval processes, portfolio reviews, convenience overline summaries and monitoring, Regulation O lending requests, credit quality initiatives, and maintenance of credit templates, forms, and administrative documentation.
- Communication and relationship management. Serve as a liaison between Credit Administration and market personnel, build productive relationships with lenders and market leadership, and support credit presentations, training materials, and educational resources.
- Regulatory, audit, and exam support. Coordinate communication and documentation among regulators, auditors, Credit Administration, and market personnel; assist with information requests, examination tracking, follow-up, and remediation activities.
- Systems and process improvement. Participate in loan origination system and lending core initiatives, coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors, support third-party credit and collateral tools, and help develop workflow automation and other efficiency improvements.
- Administrative support. Maintain organized records, assist with department scheduling, process delegated timecard or PTO entries, and perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
- Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards.

Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered.
- Commercial banking, credit administration, lending, risk management, loan operations, or related financial services experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of commercial lending and credit administration principles.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and PDF tools; experience working with reporting, lending, or collateral systems is beneficial.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, written communication, and verbal communication skills, with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, collaborate across markets and departments, and identify technology-enabled process improvements.
- Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality, with the ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
