Marketing Specialist

Assists the marketing department in all marketing and public relations functions including coordinating events and promotions, writing and editing copy, coordinating social media, assisting in media relations, providing direct assistance to sales teams, handling special projects, and both internal and external communications.

Works with outside vendors to accomplish assigned work. Acts as liaison between retail branch managers and marketing department and consults with them on effective marketing and promotional strategies. Directs and manages all aspects of special events including art shows, exhibitions, receptions, customer appreciation days, grand openings, and other types of events. Writes and edits promotional copy. Oversees the bank's internal and external social media. Works with all bank departments to provide sales support including managing the inventory of sales tools such as brochures, presentations and gifts. Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to the job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives.
