This is a hands-on, data-driven role combining freight administration, warehouse management system processing and physical warehouse operations. Approximately 70% of the role involves data entry, system processing and administration, with the remaining 30% focused on forklift and/or High Reach truck operation for stock relocation, loading and unloading.

 

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large volumes of data, navigating warehouse management systems such as SAP and maintaining accurate inventory and freight records, while also being happy to get hands-on in the warehouse when required.

Key Responsibilities

Freight Administration & Data Processing (70%)

  • Process high volumes of freight, inventory and warehouse data accurately and efficiently.
  • Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to complete transactions, update stock records and maintain data integrity. (SAP experience preferred however open any candidates that have experience with inhouse warehouse management systems)
  • Process freight movements, stock transfers, receipts and dispatch documentation.
  • Enter, verify and reconcile data to ensure accuracy across warehouse and freight systems.
  • Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, system errors and inventory issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all administrative tasks are completed within required timeframes.
  • Support daily freight and warehouse operations through timely and accurate system processing.

Warehouse Operations (30%)

  • Operate a forklift and/or High Reach truck to relocate stock and maintain warehouse organisation.
  • Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
  • Move, replenish and position stock in designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist with receivals, dispatch and general warehouse duties as required.
  • Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in freight administration, warehouse administration, inventory control or a similar logistics role.

Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS). SAP experience is highly desirable, although experience with any WMS will be considered.

Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

The ability to process large volumes of information while maintaining accuracy and productivity.

Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to balance administrative tasks with warehouse duties.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

A commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.

A current forklift licence and experience operating a High Reach truck will be highly regarded.

Consistent Monday-to-Friday working hours.

A stable 10:00 am – 18:06 pm shift.
