Responsibilities

Reporting to the Vice President, FinOps, the Business Intelligence & Operations Analyst provides analytical, operational, project management, and execution support across the FinOps function. A core responsibility of this role is owning the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of CGC’s Power BI reporting environment, ensuring dashboards effectively support operational, financial, and management decision-making. The Analyst provides key coordination support for cross-functional initiatives, helping organize priorities, develop and manage workflows, document and improve processes, and translate business needs into actionable plans and dashboards. This role combines hands-on Power BI dashboard development experience with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, helping translate cross-functional business needs into actionable insights, dashboard reporting, operational processes, and supporting documentation. 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, business analysis, consulting, financial services, investment management, energy, climate, or related fields
  • Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards in a production environment and translating business requirements into reporting solutions
  • Experience working with or coordinating external technology vendors
  • Familiarity with financial operations, investment operations, or compliance reporting environments 
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and NetSuite or similar financial management or operational data systems 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric 
  • Interest in or passion for climate finance, sustainability, or public-private investment initiatives 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
  • Demonstrated experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing business reporting dashboards 
  • Demonstrated experience supporting business operations, project coordination, reporting, or analytics functions 
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate across teams, and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment 
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions
  • High degree of ownership, follow-through, and comfort working across both operational and technical domains 
  • Willingness to learn new systems, tools, and evolving business processes 

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is $96,000.00 - $115,000.00. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and overall qualifications, and may vary from the stated range. This role is also eligible for a performance bonus.
