Logistics Account Specialist - Afternoon shift

Work Schedule:

We´re looking for a Weekend Dispatcher who is responsible for weekend shipment monitoring, customer communication, track and trace activities, exception management, appointment coordination, operational reporting, and proactive problem resolution to ensure efficient transportation operations and exceptional customer service.

• →Monitor and track active shipments throughout afternoon hours, maintaining real-time visibility and service performance.
• →Communicate with customers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delivery schedules, and operational issues.
• →Update customer portals, systems, and shipment records with accurate and timely information.
• →Coordinate pickup and delivery appointments and ensure customer requirements are met.
• →Identify, escalate, and resolve service disruptions, delays, load recoveries, and other operational exceptions.
• →Handle customer inquiries and complaints, providing timely solutions and follow-up.
• →Prepare and distribute overnight reports, ensuring all critical updates and exceptions are communicated to the overnight and daytime operations team.
• →Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate effectively with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders.

• 2+ years of sales and account management experience in transportation and logistics field is preferred.
• Ability to understand the business processing requirements using technology and conceptualize creative solutions to implement them.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of land transportation.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills & strong interpersonal and customer relation skills.
• Strong negotiation skills with proven closing ability.
• Ability to function independently with little or no supervision as well as function in a team environment.
