Growth Senior Marketing Executive

The Growth Senior Marketing Executive is responsible for maximising utilisation across char.gy's existing, newly launched and future EV charging networks. Through data-led customer marketing, the role will drive customer acquisition, increase customer engagement and grow customer value.


Working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, this role owns the delivery and optimisation of customer marketing activity across the customer lifecycle. Working cross-functionally connecting Marketing, Customer Experience, Product and Technology, you will translate customer insight into targeted CRM, lifecycle marketing and local acquisition activity that delivers measurable commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

Local Marketing & Resident Engagement 

  • Own the delivery of local marketing activity that supports new network launches and existing contract areas.
  • Work with internal Partnership Success teams to deliver contractual marketing commitments and resident engagement programmes.
  • Turn marketing commitments into targeted acquisition campaigns that maximise customer acquisition and network utilisation.
  • Track the performance of physical and digital marketing activity, using insights to refine local campaigns and enhance char.gy's Marketing Activation Playbook.



Customer Growth & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Develop customer growth plans that align marketing activity with business priorities, commercial objectives and network utilisation goals.
  • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle, developing CRM and customer journeys that drive driver acquisition, activation, utilisation, and retention.
  • Own campaign delivery from planning through execution, ensuring activity is delivered on time, measured effectively and continuously improved.
  • Work with cross-functionally with the Customer Experience team to communicate product and experience updates, service improvements, pricing changes and operational information.
  • Design and deliver our loyalty and retention initiatives, including the ongoing development of the char.gy Club programme.



Customer Insight & Optimisation

  • Develop and continuously improve Marketing's customer insight capability, using behavioural data, campaign performance and customer feedback to support better marketing decisions.
  • Develop and embed an Insight-to-Action framework that translates customer insight into clear recommendations and measurable improvements in marketing performance.
  • Develop customer segmentation, targeting and personalisation strategies that improve campaign relevance, conversion and customer value.
  • Champion a test-and-learn culture by designing and executing experiments aligned to business objectives.
  • Monitor performance against agreed KPIs, including network utilisation, new driver acquisition and revenue per driver, producing clear reporting and actionable recommendations for internal stakeholders and local authority contract requirements.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience planning, delivering and optimising digital marketing campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience using customer segmentation and personalisation to improve marketing performance.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing multiple campaigns and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial mindset with a focus on measurable business outcomes.

 

Desirable

  • Experience with customer insight, Voice of Customer (VoC) programmes or customer research.
  • Experience developing marketing performance reporting.
  • Understanding of marketing technology and customer data platforms.
  • Knowledge of marketing measurement, experimentation and data governance.
  • Experience working with Product, Technology, Data and Customer Experience teams.
