Medical Billing Specialist

Charleston ENT & Allergy has an immediate opening for a Medical Billing Specialist. This critical position works behind the scenes in our Centralized Billing Office (CBO) processing third party insurance billing and payments for multiple providers located throughout South Carolina.

An ideal fit for a highly organized person who enjoys multi-tasking, this position is primarily involved in insurance follow-ups with third party insurance carriers, answering phones, entering demographic and billing data, and providing general administrative support.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of previous experience in third party insurance billing, high attention to detail, and outstanding time-management skills. The successful applicant will be a true team player with maturity and professionalism, who is able to work independently. A strong work ethic and self-motivation are essential.
