We are looking for a Customer Support Representative who is based in the U.S. and within commuting distance of our Mahwah, New Jersey office. This position will begin as a remote role, with the expectation that it will transition to an in-office position within the next 12 months. The selected candidate must be comfortable commuting to the Mahwah office for training, meetings, and future regular onsite work.

The role will provide customer support through email, chat, and social media. A quiet home workspace and reliable internet connection are required while working remotely.

 

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries through phone, email, chat, and social media.
  • Review, investigate, and resolve customer issues to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions.
  • Address product recalls, warranty questions, returns, and terms of sale.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to Chefman and CHEF iQ products.
  • Manage and prioritize support cases and follow up as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and team to maintain high service standards.
  • Participate in training, meetings, and team sessions at the Mahwah office as required.

 

Requirements

  • Must live within reasonable commuting distance of Mahwah, New Jersey.
  • Must be comfortable transitioning to an in-office role within the next 12 months.
  • Minimum of two years of customer support experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform is preferred.
  • Strong English reading and writing skills.
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused communication style.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking, prioritization, and time-management skills.
  • Tech-savvy and able to quickly learn product connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of Windows, networking, standard PC hardware, Microsoft Office, and common software.
  • Quiet home workspace and reliable internet connection.
Hourly Pay Range (commensurate with experience)
$18$22 USD
