About the Role
~1 min read- Manage and maintain all facilities-related needs across multiple Houston-area properties
- Oversee vendor relationships for landscaping, janitorial services, garbage removal, recycling, security, and other property services
- Coordinate preventive and reactive maintenance for building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, access control, and general repairs
- Conduct regular property walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, or areas requiring attention
- Ensure all properties remain clean, safe, secure, and compliant with applicable local regulations and company standards
- Coordinate repairs, maintenance projects, and property improvements with outside contractors and service providers
- Manage vendor scheduling, service quality, and follow-up to ensure work is completed properly and on time
- Oversee exterior property needs, including parking lots, lighting, grounds, fencing, gates, signage, and general upkeep
- Respond to urgent facilities or maintenance issues as they arise
- Manage access control, keys, security systems, and related building protocols
- Support internal teams by ensuring workspaces and shared areas are properly maintained and operational
- Track facilities-related spending and assist with budgeting for repairs, services, and property needs
- Serve as the main point of contact for all facilities and maintenance matters across the Houston properties
Requirements
~1 min read- 3+ years of experience in facilities management, property management, building operations, maintenance management, or a related field
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Working knowledge of general building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, security, and basic maintenance
- Ability to manage multiple properties or locations simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing needs
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal day-to-day oversight
- Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors
- Comfortable being hands-on and addressing issues directly when needed
- Valid driver’s license required, with the ability to travel between Houston-area properties
