Chief Isaac Group of Companies is looking for an Assistant Store Manager for Bonanza Market. The assistant supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily grocery store operations. This role ensures excellent customer service, effective team leadership, proper inventory control, and achievement of sales and profitability goals. The Assistant Manager helps maintain a clean, safe, and fully stocked store environment.

• Assist in supervising day-to-day store operations
• Ensure shelves are stocked, faced, and properly labeled
• Monitor store cleanliness and safety standards
• Oversee opening and closing procedures

• Supervise cashiers, stockers, and department staff
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training employees
• Create and manage staff schedules
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary support

• Address and resolve customer complaints professionally
• Promote a positive shopping experience
• Step in to assist during peak hours as needed

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders
• Reduce shrinkage and prevent loss
• Ensure promotional displays and signage are accurate
• Verify pricing accuracy and product rotation (FIFO)

• Support sales targets and profitability goals
• Oversee cash handling and register reconciliation
• Assist with budgeting and expense control

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 2–5 years of retail experience (grocery preferred)
• Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
